Complex Cargo Plans / Load Plans Blending
Designing, Building & Implementing software that drives complicated business processes like the vessel and cargo loading plan which contains over 800 business rules, has 11 stakeholders involved, was a challenging and rewarding process.
The result achieved is a fully integrated application replacing around 80 apps and a miriad of informal systems and eliminating 100,000+ pieces of paper a month, thosands of faxes, 50,000+ emails, phone calls and radio chatter.
The key outcome was a significant change in ownership to all cargo agents on each vessel now able to see all their respective cargos with commercials kept secret while making transparency that drives truth and efficiency in planning.
